Sandie Gauthier- Owner/ E-RYT 200, YWT, YWI,YACEP Sandie has been practicing yoga for roughly sixteen years, and began teaching in 2009. In April of 2016, Sandie founded UFD. She is an E-RYT 200, with a concentration in Heated Power Vinyasa Yoga. However she is also trained and experienced in Yoga for Athletes, yoga therapy for veterans and military, Thai Yoga Massage, Acro yoga, Prenatal Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and meditation. In 2015, she founded Yoga for Warriors. Sandie is a Certified Yoga Personal Trainer, with experience training sports teams and individual athletes, helping them to achieve their athletic goals through sports specific yoga classes, injury prevention, mobility training, and recovery. She is also a certified Yoga Body Bootcamp Basic Trainer, and POUND Pro. Sandie prides herself on creating challenging yet playful classes in which everyone successfully steps out of their comforts zones. Sandie is an Herbalist, as well as a Reiki Master, and holds a B.A. from Providence College. As a CrossFit Athlete, Sandie is well versed in the ways of the athlete and is dedicated to a holistic and well balanced lifestyle. She is a mother to her teenage son, and her three fur babies.
